On this day we had the solo instrument assessment. The first to play was the violin. I wasn't really nervous because I had already practiced the night before that. When I played 'Can Can', I think I played well because there was no major mistakes and I played the song well. After I played my instrument Mr.Sadrakh gave me a paper to write the evaluation, like how well we played and what we can do to improve next time. I also listened to the other students songs and it was very insteresting because most of them were playing different songs.

Today is the last day for practicing our solo instrument songs. After a short time in theory class Mr.John let us go to our own respective music classes to practice our songs. Ms.Marie was absent so Mr.Sadrakh replaced her. I changed my song instead of 'My favourite things' to 'Can Can' because I feel more comfortable playing that song since I played it many times before.

Today we practiced the song again for the solo instrument playing assessment. The song I am going to play is "My favourite things", and when I played it I still had some mistakes so I am going to practice at home. My other classmates played different songs, but all is classical.

Today, in music class we practiced the scales again. Mr. John tested us one by one and gave us each of us a question, like: "What is the 5th note in the B flat major scale?" After we understood about the flat major scales Mr.John told us to practice for the solo assesment, but there was not enough time left for the violin group to play.

Today in music theory class we discussed and learnt another major scale: D major scale which consists of 4 flats: B, E, A and D. After the music class I went to violin instrument class, and we practiced the song My Favourite Things in violin for the solo playing assesment. The song is nice and Ms.Marie put some bowing on the musical sheet so its easier to play the song.

Today Mr.John told us to do a blog on reflections and what we did for everytime on music. Many people asked questions about blogging, so Mr.John explained carefully on what to do. We also learnt more scales. Today we learnt not onloy sharps again but with flats, so we learnt C, G, D, F, B, and E major scales.
